Fit & Sizing
I love the suits but am having a hard time determining if they will fit me. How can I be certain I will select the right size for my body?
One piece clothing can be tricky to fit..."I have a long torso, my butt is big, my top size is larger than my pant size, I am short..."
The TaraShakti suits have magic that is hard to describe until you slip into one and experience the fit and feel. Because of the high-tech stretch fabric used for the outer shell, insulate and liner, the suit truly fits most body shapes and sizes. The design is cut for an athletic feminine figure however, the fit should be snugger than your traditional outerwear to highlight, instead of hide, our magical curves.
The TaraShakti suit is meant to be worn as a snugger fit than most women are traditionally used to, you should not size up unless you really like the want a baggy, saggy look.

What is the suit's temperature rating?
Do not let the thin profile of the suits fool you. The suit will keep most people warm down to -15F.
What should I wear under my suit?
The suit has a mid-weight insulate allowing you to wear a single light or mid-weight base layer on top & bottom. You can vary the weight of that layer to adjust to further adjust to the temperature.
Do you have sizes for plus size women?
With our first run of production, we were not able to extend the sizing due to costs and TaraShakti is a woman-owned, self-funded company. Tara’s primary goal, if successful in this first year, is to expand the sizing for all feminine magnificent bodies
Is it possible to try on suits before I purchase?
TaraShakti is a direct to consumer brand based in Seattle, WA. We do not have a brick and mortar store, and currently, are not in stores. Check the events page for pop up and trunk show dates in the Seattle area.
You can schedule an in-person session to try on in Seattle or a virtual meeting with Tara to answer any questions you may have regarding specific fit, designs and color ways that will work best for you. Email tara@tarashakti.com to arrange an appointment.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return & exchange policy?
Returns and exchanges are accepted. Return must be postmarked to TaraShakti within 14 days of purchase.
SALE ITEMS (THAT ARE NOT FINAL SALE) MUST BE POSTMARKED WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF PRODUCT.
All returned items must be brand new, unwashed, unworn, and in original condition.
