Is it possible to try on the suit before I purchase?
TaraShakti is a direct to consumer brand based in Seattle, WA where we have a private showroom in Capitol Hill.
You can schedule an in-person session to try on in Seattle or a virtual meeting with Tara to answer any questions you may have regarding specific fit, designs and color ways that will work best for you.
How can I be sure I choose the right size for my body?
TaraShakti suits are designed with a special blend of high-tech stretch fabrics that hug most body shapes and sizes from 0-18 in all the right places. Our suits are tailored for an athletic, feminine figure, highlights your curves rather than concealing them. This means they may initially feel more fitted than typical outerwear however you will discover the fabric is not restrictive, allowing you to move freely and fiercley in all your winter activities.
To help you find your perfect size, we offer a detailed size guide with precise measurements for each garment.
You are welcome to schedule an appointment for an in person at our Shakti Chalet in Capitol Hill or a virtual fitting.

Are the suits waterproof?
Our snow suits are water resistance and will keep you dry in prolonged hours of heavy rain.
We wear them to all the Seattle sporting events, which means 4+ hours in heavy rain, cheering on our teams!
What is your return & exchange policy?
Returns and exchanges of full priced items are accepted. Return must be postmarked to TaraShakti within 14 days of purchase with all tags attached. We do not cover return shipping at this time.
All items must be brand new, unwashed, unworn, and in original condition.

Following a career as a professional photographer, Tara Clark, tapped into the transformative power of human connections with projects like the Believe Love Unite movement,helping Hmong farmers during Covid-19 by organizing citywide flower sales, and the powerful World in My Backyard photography series.Tara followed her head and heart to find a way to modernize one of her favorite things that elevated her mountain moments, the vintage one piece snow suit.
